Manchester Metros 35-3 Glasgow Stags

A night that paid tribute to the life of Ethan Trickett saw the Metros score 35 in honour of number 35.
Before the game tributes were payed with the laying of the 35 shirt and both teams standing in the centre of the rink.

The Metros got off to the best start possible scoring after 39 seconds with Jake Frost his first of 3 goals. The Metros lead was soon doubled through Cameron Hill before a rapid response from Glasgow with Iain MacKintosh scoring. A first quarter onslaught from the Metros saw 14 goals scored with Oliver Massey scoring 3 and Kai Gennoe, Anrich Landman, Christopher Kelly Wong, Oliver Massey and Dominik Weaver all scoring twice with Abbey Thompson also getting one.
2nd period was more of the same from the Metros with Kelly Wong and Oliver Massey getting doubles and and Domink Weaver, Lenny Fay, Matthew Wassall, Jake Frost, Kai Gennoe and Anrich Landman also adding to the Scoreline to put the metros 27-1 at Half time.
The 3rd period rounded off a impressive performance with Jaeyoon La getting his first before a quick 8 second double from Kai Gennoe and further goals from Weaver, Landman,Massey, Heather Clarkson and Cameron Hill saw the Metros reach 35, fitting for the occasion of celebration. Glasgow did add 2 consolation goals with Matthew Preston scoring twice.
