If you've played ice hockey before, you're in the right place as the Manchester Metros recruit experienced players of all abilities throughout the entire season.

The club has a strong coaching squad that commit to ensuring player development and a winning mentality in all competitive teams.

NIHL, ex-junior and skilled international players fit right in to the clubs A team
who compete in Checking Division 2 of the BUIHA while recreational players will suit the B (Non-Checking Division 1) and C team (Non-Checking Tier 2 Nationals).

If you've never played ice hockey before, this is the place
to start you off on your new journey.
​
At the start of each academic year, the club hosts 'Give It A Go' sessions where you are able to try the sport for the first time, no matter your skating ability. During these sessions, all equipment will be provided and you will receive
training from our experienced coaches!
​
After these sessions, you'll be able to register your interest for joining the team full-time. You'll be placed into our D Team where the majority of players have graduated from these GIAG sessions!​
