CALLING ALL FRESHERS!
Looking forward to your first week at university? Make it even better by visiting us at your universities Freshers Fair!
Over the next few weeks, we'll be attending Freshers Fairs all across Manchester. The Metros will be stopping at the University of Salford on the 13th September, the University of Manchester on the 19th September and the Manchester Metropolitan University on the 24/25th September!
No matter if you've played since before you could walk or if you've never even been on the ice, we want to speak to you! By visiting us at your Freshers Fair, experienced players will be able to sign up to join our Checking and Non-Checking BUIHA cup teams whilst aspiring players will be able to register their interest to attend our 'Give It A Go' sessions!
Our 'Give It A Go' sessions are the perfect place for absolute beginners to try the sport for the very first time as you'll be completely kitted out and taught the basics by our experienced coaches. These sessions are designed with local universities to allow you to try ice hockey without any commitment, but if you end up falling in love with the ice you'll be able to register your interest in signing up to our development teams!
Unable to visit us in person or attend a North-West university that we won't be attending, such as Liverpool, Lancaster, Edge Hill or Chester? Experienced players can register your interest online while those looking to try the sport can keep an eye out for more information soon!
